Cracking end to U10 Girls outdoor season at Diamond Fields
Canton, Ohio - Sunday, October 28, 2007

Its no secret that the Cleveland Internationals Girls U10 squad is a talented group of young ladies, but as the season progressed they continued to amaze. Finalizing their State League win over CKSC in back to back games, was merely another display of the unparalleled quality we have come to expect. As the team descended on Diamond Fields in North Canton this weekend, hopes and expectations were high for this quality bunch in the midst of some of the stiffest competition in the area. To open, the Internationals faced a difficult loss to Pacesetters Red, but quickly bounced back with wins over Vardar and Perrysburg. The Perrysburg game could have served as a summation of the season with a back and forth, nail-biting game that ended in favor of our girls, 6-5. While missing the championship game by a single point, this squad has no regrets, so look for them in matches to come as they continue to elevate their game.
