Last year, the Internationals made history by winning three National Championships and became the only club ever to accomplish such a feat. They won titles in the U13, U15, and U16 girls divisions.

U13 Internationals Girls

The Internationals finished in first place in the Midwest Division with a record of 6-2-2. The team went unbeaten in their last five games of the season. Playing their final match of the regular season, they needed a tie or a win to secure first place but fell behind 3-0 by halftime to Kalamazoo. In the second half, the Internationals pulled together for an amazing comeback scoring three goals and earning a 3-3 tie and clinching a spot in the 2008 North American Finals.

U15 Internationals Girls

The U15s have improved consistently during the entire season. They finished the regular season with a 7-1-0 record, outscoring their opponents 46-7 on their way to winning the Midwest Division. Posting five shutouts during their eight games, their strong defense provides the platform for an attack that is based on ball possession and attacking style. The girls look to add to the Internationals Super Y-League record of five girls titles.

U17 Internationals Girls

The Internationals U-17 SYL team is returning to Tampa, with the goal of bringing home another Championship. This talented team is comprised mostly of girls that played on last year’s U-15 Super Y National Championship team. After a season opening 3 – 3 tie with the Fort Wayne Fever, this young team (all but one player are true U16s) dominated their last five games, scoring 35 goals with only 1 scored against them and qualified with 5-0-1 . The team is built around solid defense as well as multiple attacking personalities.
