The Internationals Soccer Club was established in 1976 as an outlet for players who had graduated from college with a desire to continue to play competitively. Soon to follow was the Internationals women's program which competed at the national level within two years. The youth program was launched in 1985. Today, Internationals Soccer Club, is one of the finest and most respected youth soccer clubs in the country.
The Internationals has become synonymous with playing, coaching, and organizational excellence. Our coaches are licensed at the highest levels and provide some of the best training in the country. Internationals teams have won more State Titles, Regional Titles, and National Titles than any other club in Northern Ohio. The club has provided professional coaching to athletes for over thirty years.
Internationals' players have a tremendous amount of national exposure, both on the US Youth National Team and college levels. The club's reputation for excellence proceeds it wherever and whenever it competes. Internationals' record of placing top-ranked student-athletes is well-known throughout the USA and abroad.
Our teams consist of players from throughout the state of Ohio, with many traveling from more than an hour away to train with our club. Internationals have given young soccer athletes the opportunity to excel and compete locally, nationally and worldwide. Many of our players participate in State, Regional, and National Olympic Development/Identification Programs, and more than 95% of Internationals' graduates go on to play soccer at many of this nation's finest universities. Girls Club Timeline
1976: The Internationals Soccer Club was established in 1976 as an outlet for players who had graduated from college with a desire to continue to play competitively.
1977: The Internationals Women’s Program began and competed at the national level within two years.
1983: The girls youth program began in 1983 with a single U19 team.
1999: With the explosion of girls youth soccer in the USA, the club grew to include a single girls team per age group U10-U18.
2005: The Internationals were awarded a semi-pro franchise in the USL's W-League.
2007 & 2008: The girls program was recognized as one of the top 25 programs in the nation.
2010: The Internationals Girls were accepted into the USYSA National League.
2012: The Internationals Girls were accepted into the Elite Clubs National League.
Today: the Internationals Soccer Club is comprised of multiple girls teams per age group offering multiple levels of competitive play and is one of the finest and most respected youth soccer clubs in the country. The girls teams have won more State, Regional and National Titles than any other NE Ohio club. The club has developed National Team players, professional players, and has sent hundreds of players on to the collegiate ranks.
