We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behavior in the game. As a player, you are part of both a team and a club and your actions reflect not only upon yourself but on your team and the rest of the Internationals Soccer Club. As a member of the Club, you are responsible for your own actions and will be held accountable for them.
Parents
- Not coach the players from the sidelines; Let the coaches do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what I think they should do.
- Not engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behavior toward anyone at anytime during a club event.
- Always respect the referees’ decisions.
- Never approach a coach on the field of play or near the playing venue with questions regarding playing time, positions, etc.
- Encourage the players to respect the opposition and referees.
- Applaud good, fair play and success of all participants.
- Never criticize a player for making a mistake - mistakes are part of learning.
- Adhere to all rules and policies set forth by the club.
Players
- Play fairly - I won't cheat or complain; respect the referee’s decision.
- Speak to and treat my teammates, the other team, the referee, spectators, team manager , and my coach(es) with respect.
- Always do my best, even if we're losing or the other team is stronger.
- Learn and respect the Laws of the Game.
- Listen to my coach, respond to and respect what he/she is asking of me.
- Win or lose with dignity; Acknowledge (by shaking hands, etc.) the other team and referee at the end of the game.
- Never engage in offensive, insulting or abusive language or behavior.
- Never engage in bullying, intimidation or harassment.
- Clean up all trash around the playing area after the game.
